Mongolia

I'm freaking out. I'm making arrangements to go to Mongolia with our vertebrate paleontologist in August to photograph a dinosaur dig. I need to come up with at least $5000 plus a digital camera plus an audio recorder plus all the extras that I would need for this project. So I've been looking for grants that I might be able to apply for. I'm planning having funraisers and I'm going to straight out ask for money. I'm going to do whatever it takes to get me to Mongolia.

There are a couple things that keep getting me excited:

1. When I went to Borders, there were NO books on Mongolia.

2. When I tell people where I plan on going, they ask me where it is.

3. This trip will give me some experience for my possible trip to Ethiopia next year.

More details later, I need to do some work. Or freak out some more.
